MSL Names Erin Lanuti to Global Role as Chief Influence Strategist

Will Work with MSLGROUP and Publicis Groupe Leaders on Innovative Cross-Groupe Business Efforts

Paris and New York, July 14, 2016 – MSLGROUP has appointed Erin Lanuti as its first global Chief Influence Strategist reporting to Global CEO, Guillaume Herbette. Lanuti, who will be a member of MSLGROUP’s Global Leadership Team (COMEX), will be responsible for shaping and innovating MSLGROUP’s global vision around influence in conjunction with the leadership of MSLGROUP and Publicis Groupe. She has been charged to define and lead initiatives that tap the full technologies and resources across Publicis Groupe to build innovative opportunities around influence that can be made available to all of the Groupe’s clients.

She will help direct the formation and incubation of new businesses, strategic partnerships and future acquisitions to support the efforts.

“Marketers have come to see influence as one of the most critical elements of modern public relations, but to achieve broader interest and use by our clients, we need to look beyond the borders of PR to innovate the functionality of the influence channel. Erin’s role will be to create a strategic integration of paid, owned, earned and shopper activities through some of the most advanced capabilities and technologies inside and outside the organization,” said Herbette. “We see influence as a vital tool that can deliver new value for clients in a way that is powerful, credible, integrated, controllable and measureable. ”

With over 20 years’ experience developing and executing integrated campaigns, Lanuti has worked across numerous industry verticals and channels. She has a deep expertise in consumer brand marketing, paid media, content marketing, digital, entertainment, strategy, advertising, branding and new and emerging media.

Lanuti first joined MSLGROUP in 1998 where she worked for six years on consumer marketing business. Then, for more than five years, she led Blink Entertainment LLC, a firm she founded as a non-traditional integrated marketing agency focused on partnerships and entertainment marketing that serviced Fortune 100 companies. She returned to MSLGROUP in 2010 as SVP, Paid Media and Cross-Channel Strategies for North America.
