MSL Hires Four Senior Leaders to Strengthen its Consumer Practice

Rema Vasan, Danielle Dunne, Sacheen Cicero and Iya Bleyman Join Team in New York

NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2016 :As its award-winning consumer business in New York continues to grow, MSLGROUP has hired four senior executives to lead and support several of the agency’s largest clients.

Rema Vasan, Danielle Dunne, and Sacheen Cicero join MSLGROUP as senior vice presidents. Iya Bleyman joins as a vice president.

MSLGROUP’s client work in consumer marketing won some of the top awards in the world last year, including the Cannes Lion PR Grand Prix. It was also named by the Stevie Awards as U.S. and Global Marketing Agency of the Year.

Rema Vasan

Rema Vasan, a global marketing professional and digital expert with more than 18 years of brand-building experience on both the client and the agency sides of the business, will serve as global client engagement director for one of the agency’s largest clients. She brings tremendous consumer and consumer health experience from global and regional leadership roles with Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, GSK Consumer Healthcare and Unilever.

Vasan comes to MSLGROUP from Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, where she reshaped and led the company’s global digital strategy and delivered significant business value for brands like Centrum, Advil, Chapstick and Nexium in more than 35 markets around the world.

Vasan also was a senior vice president and global group account director at Publicis in New York, where she drove Effie Award-winning campaigns.

Danielle Dunne

Dunne joins MSLGROUP from InVentiv Health PR, where she most recently served as managing director of its consumer health and wellness division, Allidura Consumer. She served as a senior strategic counselor to clients across the food and beverage, consumer packaged goods and pharmaceutical categories, connecting brands with today’s hyper-connected consumer. Previously, Dunne was director of Global Special Events at Estee Lauder.

Dunne said, “I look forward to working across the organization to deliver creative and integrated programs that drive business results for our clients.”

Sacheen Cicero

Sacheen Cicero brings her experience as a creative strategist to MSLGROUP to help with ideation and plan development across the consumer practice. She joins the team after spending several years as an independent consultant. Previously, she was a senior vice president at Cohn & Wolfe, where she led several initiatives on the Payless team and was the agency’s creative culturist. She also spent several years at GCI Group as a creative specialist, working on the Banana Boat, Slim Fast and Lipton brands. “I’m looking forward to pushing creative boundaries in new and emerging areas. It’s a great time to join such a global and integrated agency,” said Cicero.

Iya Bleyman

Bleyman brings a blend of consumer food and lifestyle experience from Allidura Consumer, where she helped some of the world’s largest food companies communicate their role in consumer wellness. She previously worked on the Advil and Weight Watchers accounts for Ketchum, and spent two years at The Swatch Group as a PR manager for Tissot Swiss Watches.
