Andrea Donovan Joins MSL as Managing Director of its Consumer Practice in London
London – 5th March 2018 - MSL has appointed Andrea Donovan as Managing Director of its UK consumer practice. Following almost eleven years at Red Consultancy, most recently as Managing Director growing their consumer practice, Donovan will be tasked with building MSL’s UK consumer practice to achieve ambitious targets.
Donovan formally joins MSL in March. She will be supported by Simon Condon who after six years of successfully leading a diverse portfolio of clients at MSL has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director.
With 18 years’ agency experience across multiple sectors, Donovan has particular knowledge of consumer technology brands leading high profile campaigns for the likes of Microsoft, Nokia, Samsung, and Huawei. She also has broader integrated brand campaign experience across travel, gaming, automotive and utility sectors for clients such as EDF Energy, Adobe, and Emirates.
For 2017, MSL saw double-digit growth in its London operations, in part due to organic growth and new wins across its consumer portfolio from AkzoNobel, Renault, Value Retail, World Avocado Organisation and Diesel. Notable work includes launching AkzoNobel’s ‘Colour of the Year’ and announcing Beko’s new brand campaign ‘Eat Like a Pro’ with FC Barcelona and Deliciously Ella at IFA.
Donovan said of her move, “I’m looking forward to joining what is an already very successful business, working with Simon to continue to grow the team and their talents. I am particularly excited about the opportunity to create truly integrated campaigns regardless of discipline.
