Mercedes manages comprehensive PR programs featuring industry and vendor positioning assignments, product promotion, analyst relations, extensive customer programs and thought leadership. She leads the development of corporate messaging and strategic PR goals.
Mercedes has worked with several leading technology vendors, building deep expertise in B2B enterprise software markets including virtualization, cloud computing, IT and database management and healthcare IT. She leads campaigns designed to specifically target technology buyers, decision makers, channel partners, developers and end users. She has worked with several clients from initial launch through acquisition, including Purewire (web security company acquired by Barracuda Labs), ScriptLogic (IT management company acquired with Quest Software which has since been acquired by Dell) and Misys Healthcare Systems (merged with Allscripts).
For B2B technology clients, Mercedes provide strategic recommendations and executes on content development, content marketing, and social amplification. She collaborated with Imation’s marketing team to create complementary content distributed through traditional and social media channels and has executed content marketing program for Dell Software product lines, Advanced Plan for Health and Brother International.
