Managing Director, MSL Brussels
Leonardo Sforza leads MSL public affairs practice for EMEA, as well as MSL’s Brussels office as its managing director. Leonardo has 25 years of Brussels-based experience in addressing European Union policy issues and corporate strategies. He advices public and private organisations on EU-related policy and regulatory changes, multi-stakeholders engagement and communication strategies. Before joining MSL in April 2012, Leonardo has been leading for a decade the Research and EU affairs department at AON Hewitt, were he has been advising global multinationals and the European Commission on financial service institutions, human capital and governance. Prior to the private sector, Leonardo has been working for more than ten years for several departments of the European Commission where he led numerous initiatives supporting job creation and business competitiveness in the service industry. Leonardo has been chairing the scientific committee of the European Club for HR between 2005 and 2012, and is a regular contributor to the Centre for European Policy Studies and the European Corporate Governance Institute. Leonardo has a post graduate degree in law (summa cum laude) from the University of Bari and lectured European Community Law at Italian, French and North American Universities. His working languages are English, French and Italian.
