Lee Ann Townes helps inform, design, implement and communicate company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability commitments.

With nearly 10 years in the field of communications, Townes has deep experience ranging from strategy and issue area identification, to program development and activation, to integrated communications and engagement. She has worked with companies like ANN INC. to empower women; PepsiCo to refresh its iconic Performance with Purpose strategy, targets and messaging; Discover Financial Services to implement financial literacy curriculum; The Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation to identify and articulate a higher purpose; and JetBlue to put age-appropriate books in the hands of underserved children.

In addition to CSR programming, Townes has worked with clients in reputation management, corporate branding, thought leadership, internal communications, change management, and executive visibility. She served as the editorial curator for Johnson & Johnson’s enterprise-wide innovation platform, helped Sovereign Bank rebrand to Santander, raised the visibility for Lloyd’s of London in North America through targeted media and speaking campaigns, and helped launch MetLife Central, an interactive, experiential hub at MetLife Stadium.

Townes was named one of PR News’ “Rising PR Stars – 30 & Under” award recipients in 2013 and is a graduate of James Madison University.
