Herd MSL Bolsters Leadership with New Senior Appointments
26 September 2018, Sydney Australia: Herd MSL, one of Australia’s largest and most awarded public relations and integrated communications groups, today announced significant new leadership appointments and executive promotions.
Herd MSL, includes Fuel Communications, N2N Communications and Touch Creative and has grown to house 70 public relations, content and social media specialists representing brands in corporate, consumer lifestyle, government and technology sectors.
Today the agency group has announced the new appointments of Jason Carnew as Managing Director of Fuel Communications and Tom Sanders as Herd MSL Creative Director.
Jason is an integrated communications specialist and established leader with more than 17 years’ experience in creative and public relations agencies. He brings a track record in driving agency growth through integrated campaigns, creative thinking and outstanding leadership. Jason will lead Fuel Communications which specialises in large-scale consumer lifestyle communications activities and provide support to the wider Herd MSL group.

Tom Sanders joins Herd MSL into the newly created role of group Creative Director, and has 18 years’ specialist creative experience in the UK and Australian markets. Tom has extensive experience in strategic creative innovation and the development of award-winning campaigns for major brands.

In addition to these two new appointments, Herd MSL also announced today two executive promotions.
Stuart Wragg, former Lead of Fuel Communications, has been promoted to Head of Strategy, Herd MSL. Stu will lead consumer insights, strategic direction and integration with creative for Herd MSL’s clients. Stu brings an outstanding track record at Herd MSL including leading two of Airbnb’s Cannes PR Award-winning campaigns.
Also, Laura Beament has been promoted to General Manager of Fuel Communications to drive the structure, strategy and talent development in the agency. Laura has been integral to Fuel’s significant growth over the last two years and will continue to lead Fuel’s consumer lifestyle practice representing outstanding brands.
