MSL and Salterbaxter Brings Sustainability Discussion to AdWeek New York
MSL joins the #AWNewYork conversation with a topic that’s been growing in importance – sustainability.
AdvertisingWeek New York has long been the playground of the advertising community in New York, but the conversation is evolving beyond traditional advertising. This past week, MSL entered the conversation with a sponsored panel on a topic that’s been growing in importance – sustainability.
We gathered a group of some of the world’s top experts in the subject: Lisa Manley who leads communications and engagement around sustainability strategy at Mars; Jeremy Cohen, Managing Director of MSL’s sustainability and social purpose consultancy, Salterbaxter; Anne-Clair Berg, Culture and Engagement Director of Danone; Hugh Welsh, General Counsel, Secretary and President of DSM North America; and Heather Clancy, Editorial Director of the GreenBiz Group who moderated the discussion.
The panel, Sustainability: Turning Corporate Values into Business Value, focused on the evolution of sustainability, once thought of as a CSR function, but that today stands as a critical business driver integrated across enterprises. We set out to explain why today’s business leaders understand that it is no longer enough to simply reduce their negative environmental impact, and how their consumers, B2B customers and employees now expect companies to bring their know-how and scale to some of society’s biggest challenges.
